Map Amendment Application

Description

When a proposed amendment to the Zoning Resolution would result in a change in the zoning classification of any specific property, the applicant shall submit a Map Amendment Application to the Zoning Commission in accordance with Article 12, 12.04 B. Map Amendments follow a Public Hearing schedule which includes review and recommendation by the Summit County Planning Commission and the Copley Township Zoning Commission with ultimate authority vested in the Copley Township Board of Trustees.

All applications must be reviewed by the Copley Township Architectural Review Board and are subject to approval from all necessary internal and external agencies.

Modified Site Plan Application

Description

A Modified Site Plan Application is required for interior improvements to existing Non-Residential, Commercial, Multi-Family, and Transient uses including change of business use and/or change of business. All applications must be reviewed by the Copley Township Fire Inspector for final approval. A Business Use Certificate will be issued upon receipt of approval from the Copley Township Fire Department and the Summit County Building Department.

Text Amendment Application

Description

When a proposed amendment to the Zoning Resolution would result in a change in the text of the Zoning Resolution but would not result in a change of zoning classification of any specific property, the applicant shall submit a Text Amendment Application to the Zoning Commission in accordance with Article 12, 12.04 A.
